Brief Answer:
Survival depends on the stage of cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,

I understand your concern.

Prostate cancer can be meticulously based on the stage of the disease.

The overall survival rate depends on the following factors.

1.PSA levels.
2.Histological grade of the tumor
3.Extent of spread if any.

Many cancers in stage 1 and 2 can be managed well with hormonal and chemotherapeutic agents.

Occasionally higher grades are managed by laparoscopic or open surgical techniques.

Occasional complete cure can be possible for localised grade 1-2 cancers.

Stage 3 and 4 have poorer outcomes and greater spread of cancer at the time of diagnosis.

You need to Consult Urosurgeon and an Oncologist together for expert management.
