What Is The Window Period For HIV Testing?

Question: hello dear sir
people saying HIV window period is 3 months .
even ur doctors also saying same only.
but some doctors n lab people saying window period 6 months.
wich is right 3months or 6months?

i am confused plz tell me exact and 100% window period.

i have went check up 6th week p24 test.
its negative.
lab people told 99% negative
for confirmation 3 months u can take one more test.

which is more accuracy test at 3 month.

after 3 months if comes negative , should i need test again?
