Question : Hello,
What GI or Cardiac issue could cause lingering mid and upper back pain that worsens when laying down? I was told I had pericarditis (results from an EKG) and have had numerous GI issues in the past (Gallbladder was removed and have had an endoscopy, colonoscopy, and MRI; all normal). What could be causing this? Im nervous about some GI cancer or a serious heart issue, despite having all of these tests.
Thank you.

Hello,
There is nothing to worry, if anything is serious than it will be diagnose by various investigation you have done. They are latest one.
Upper back pain you are having may be due to gastritis or due to postural. For gastritis you can take Pantoprazole 40 mg along with domperidone ad for postural pain you can do physiotherapy.
I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out. Wishing you good health.
