need some further details as well as evaluation regarding...
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You haven't mentioned your age here... Also, it's important to know whether you're having any pre-existing medical condition or taking any medications for any particular reasons...Your height and present body weight need to be measured as well...
Well, in general, the cholesterol levels should be below 200...That being said, it should be evaluated as a part of lipid profile altogether as just cholesterol doesn't make it relevant to intervene. You should also note that there are good cholesterol as well as bad cholesterol apart from that.
So this level of 250 needs further evaluation. It'll be better if you undergo a complete evaluation including CBC, LFT, KFT, Lipid profile, FBS, PPBS, Thyroid function test, ECG (all these are basic work-ups and generally covered under a 'Comprehensive Health Check-up' plan only). Apart from this, you should also meet a Physician for a clinical check-up.
If the check-up's come as satisfactory, then you can certainly increase the exercise threshold based on your daily requirement. Along with these please also maintain a healthy diet plan devoid of processed/junk/fast foods, drink plenty of water, don't indulge into smoking/alcohol (if at all do)...
Let me know if there're any further doubts/queries...
Take Care
Kind Regards
