Question: HI doctor thanks for taking in my question. I foolishly and frequently visit female prostitutes been doind so for 8 yrs now. I have the habit of shaving my pubic hairs especially my lower ab region and shaft of my penis, and testicles. I use a facial razor to do this. Then remains cut marks from my razor. Then I go to these type of woman. I always wear a condom before I engage in vaginal sex. Im worried because in my last sexual encounter, I had sex with a condom on, came inside her with the condom on, she then pulled my penis out with the condom still intact, removed it, threw it away. I then preceded into cleaning my penis, I cant remember if I also cleaned my foreskin, or while my foreskin was fulled back. Either way I cleaned my penis with the hand sanitizer, also cleaned my testicles, and lower ab shaved pubic area. All of that burned, irritated my skin! Then wiped it of with tissue. I shaved my pubic region 30mins before I left to her place. My exposed uncovered lower ab area remained unprotected by the condom as it was smacking her viginal walls while I was thrusting. My worry is can the HIV virus be transmitted this way through the razor cuts in my low shaved pubic area while touching her outer vaginal secretions? Even though I wore a condom? Then used hand sanitizer further irritating my skin?

Brief Answer:
HIV testing

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it

HIV should have direct access to the blood stream, through an open wound. An open wound is a cut which is freshly made and freshly actively bleeding.

It does have to be fresh and open and bleeding for the virus to gain access into the blood stream.

Even for cuts, once a scab forms (usually within a few hours), this would no longer give access to the bloodstream, preventing HIV from entering.

-Did the razor cuts bleed when you got them?
