Question : Hello Dr. Aggarwal,
we have corresponded regarding my throat issues. I have had a laryngoscopy done by now. All normal, the otolaryngologist said there is no subluxation. However, she said my larynx is a bit tilted, but also said this is quite often and likely not due to trauma.
Pain symptoms have improved, but clicking is still here. What other issues can cause the clicking/tightness in throat?
Many thanks for your help

Brief Answer:
Tightness in the throat
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am glad you followed my advice.
If laryngoscopy is absolutely normal than there is probably no effect of trauma.
The tightness in the throat can be due to gastric acid reflux or indigestion.
You should take tablet pantoprazole once daily regularly for 2 weeks empty stomach in the morning and an antacid syrup 2 spoon 3 times a day.
Avoid any spicy food and aerated drinks.
Any sedentary lifestyle.
Take frequent but small diets.
Follow this for few days and tell me how do you feel now.
Any further questions are always welcome
Wishing you a speedy recovery
Thanks and regards
