Question : Hello doctor. My daughter is having severe cold. She is having breathing difficulty. Her age is 1 year 8 months. Please suggest her medication.

Hi,

At this age it is very common for viral infections to present with severe cold cough and breathing problem. I usually add Ambroxol drops like Mucolote three times daily for a few days for such babies in my clinic. However if breathing problem is more better to get her examined by your pediatrician. She may need oxygen nebulization too.
