Brief Answer:
Precautions for measles

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for writing to us.

Precautions at home:
1. Do not send your child out or to school for 8-10 days or till the rashes are completely reduced.
2. Give her plenty of fluids to keep her hydrated. You can give her fruit juices like orange, lemon juice, ORS(oral rehydration solution) and water.
3. Room should be well ventilated with dim light.
4. Ask her to rest as much as possible.
5. Give her healthy food like fruits, vegetables. Whole grains including bread. Give small amounts of food frequently, this will keep her energetic.
6. Dress her with loose cotton clothes.
7. You should give her complete course of medication as advised by doctor.

Hope I have answered your query.
