Question : Healthy lady, no complaints with anything - touch wood.
Miscarried in December 2010 so this is my first time since my last pregnancy on testing. I am like clock work with my periods, 28 days every month, apart from when I lost my last child, as mentioned above, it did take me a couple of months to get back to normal again, which I have.

Thanks for writing to us.

I presume now your periods are overdue and you have already done a pregcolor card test to confirm your pregnancy.

Since you have had a miscarriage earlier, this time you need to be cautious. Go for an ultrasound scan at 7-8 weeks to detect the fetal heart. Start folic acid supplements early and avoid heavy work and intercourse in the first three months.
