What Questions Should I Ask My GP Regarding Osteoarthritis In Knee And Discomfort Chest?

default
Posted on Thu, 21 May 2015
Question: I have had X-ray and my GP reports that I have osteoarthritis in my knee. Both knees hurt, as do my back, wrist and fingers. My chest is also uncomfortable, but doc says this also a symptom of arthritis and not heart problem. I am limited on what medications I can take as I am on aspirin, and blood pressure medication. I am allergic to anything with codeine. I am seeing my GP again this week. What questions should I be asking him?

Brief Answer:
Ibuprofen or naproxen possible Arthitis med, after heart checkup

Detailed Answer:
Dear patient,

even though you are on bp med. and aspirin, ibuprofen or naproxen can be a possible pain treatment for your arthritis. This is one thing you can ask the gp. The other thing i would ask for is heart checkup (EKG at least) to make sure there is really no heart condition behind your chest problems.

Hope this is helping you , if you have any clarificatons you can get back to me, if this was helpful please kindly rate my answer. Best regards
