Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Splenic flexure syndrome is a condition caused by the presence of the gas in the intestine.
So, it is important to avoid food that can make you feel bloated.
In case that you fill constipated, you can use Miralax.
I do not recommend to use it daily.
The side effects of Miralax are minimal, so you should not worry about the liver or the kidneys.
I also recommend to use Simethicone medications in case that you feel bloated.
I suggest to drink liquids and eat a fiber rich diet to avoid constipation.
There is no evidence based study that gluten is the cause of this syndrome .
Anyway, I recommend to avoid it because gluten can help in the build up of gas in the intestine.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards!
