Question : I have taken 3 pregnancy test and all have came out negative, but I haven’t had my period yet. Me and my partner use protection. I have been stressed lately, but I don’t think that bad. What should I do?

Brief Answer:
A serum beta-HCG test needs to be done.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.

You can go for a blood beta-HCG test for confirmation. A urine test may not be accurate every time.

If the periods are delayed despite negative brtaHCG test, other causes must be ruled out, You should go for a thyroid function test (TFT) as thyroid hormone dysfunction can be a possible cause for delayed menstruation and other menstrual irregularities. Ultrasound abdomen is required to rule out conditions like PCOS (polycystic ovarian syndrome).

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Thanks
