Question : I took 3/4 fleet liquid glycerine suppositories around 2pm today and bowel movement was a little. Around 11 pm I still felt I had to go more so took 3/4 large bottle of fleet saline enema with sodium phosphates . I was not able to make bowel movement but passed some tissue with a tinge of blood. Is this something I need to worry about or will it be safe .

If this is first time to happen you can wait and see for some more days.
If this is not the first time to happen it is something that needs to be evaluated.
Feeling constipated and the enema not working to relieve it also passing some tissue with blood is something that needs to be evaluated.
I would have recommended you to do colonoscopy .

I did finally go and I just had a colonoscopy in XXXXXXX end of XXXXXXX I have irritable bowel also but going fine today. I just wanted to know if taking all that and passing some tissue was harmful that’s all or was it ok
