Question : Im having symptoms of dengue.. High fever, pain in eyes and body pain.. What should I do

Hi Mr,
Thanks for the query .I understand your concern.
*You have typical symptoms of dengue. Its a viral disease mostly self controlled....reverts back in about a week's time.
The treatment is symptomatic...as there is no specific treatment.
-Take maximum possible rest.
-Have easy to digest ,light food.
-Drink plenty of water
-Take Acetoamenophen over the counter for pain relief...after food.
-Take care of children/pregnant ladies in the house..to avoid spread..that is by mosqueto bite.
* very rarely Dengue takes a serious form...though rare possibility,one has to be on guard for suggestive symptoms like pain in abdomen,sudden weakness/bleeding from nose or gums
In such cases patient needs immediate care in hospital.
