Question : About 3 days ago I developed an area on the lower left side of my scrotum that was itching and began weeping a clear yellowish discharge. It has evolved into a bump that is about 2/3s the size of a golf ball and it continues to weep. I put an antibiotic cream on it but that doesn’t seem to help. Please advise.

                                    Brief Answer:
Infected eczema, topical steroid antibiotic cream, antibiotic
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to ask a doctor service
I have gone through your query and reviewed the attached photograph.
It seems to be a case of infected eczema.
I would recommend you to apply a combination cream containing steroid and antibiotic like clobetasol propionate cream and fusidic acid cream on the affected area twice daily for 10 days.
Also take a course of oral antibiotic like tablet cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days and antihistaminic like tablet cetrizine 10 mg once daily at night for 8-10 days.
This will help in resolving your problem.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
