Brief Answer:
Can be soft tissue injury or muscle spasm.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

The pain in neck and back that you have can be due to a muscle spasm or disc related problem. The swelling in legs and feet need an evaluation to find the cause. There can be a soft tissue injury in the neck and back also. You can start with an oral muscle relaxant, mild pain killer like Aleve and a hot compress in the area. In case the pain is persistent then you need to consult an orthopedist for a direct examination and specific medicines.

I hope this answers your query. In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.

Wishing you good health.
