Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Olvance H40 is a combination of Olmesartan and Hydrochlorothiazide.
Olmesartan acts by inhibiting RAA axis and can cause altered kidney function in people whose RAA system is already compromised e.g. in heart issues, kidney artery stenosis (constriction), etc. In such cases, the kidney function will go down in few days.
In case of Hydrochlorothiazide, it can cause kidney impairment as a side effect in some people.
Both taken together must be used with caution in already existing kidney disease or with other medicines that can cause kidney damage e.g. pain killers.
In my opinion, if you are taking this combination without any problem for 7 years, there are very less chances that you will develop any kidney problem due to it. You may watch out for above mentioned conditions like heart issues, prolonged pain killer intake. Kidney function test is an easy test to check health of kidneys.
Hope it helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
