MY PROBLEM IS THAT I HAVE NAIL FUNGUS THAT HAS GROWN UNDER MY NAILS AND BECAME HARD AS A BRICK! I COULDN'T CLEAN MT FEET BECAUSE OF BACK SURGERY THAT LEFT ME UNABLE TO BEND! WHAT CAN I DO,, BECAUSE MY FEET ARE GOING NUMB, STIFF, AND MY LEGS ALSO?

Hi,

Fungus affecting the toenails or fingernails or scalp can be difficult to treat and in general the guidelines recommend that oral medication is needed to treat these infections.

Infections in these areas would not respond to topical medication on its own. Oral med would have to be added.

Examples of oral medication include- fluconazole, itraconazole, terbinafine etc
Treatment can take weeks, in some cases up to 3 months for the toes to improve

A prescription from your doctor would be needed.
