Question: hi. I had got my haemoglobin checked which came out to be 4.7. I was then diagnosed with thalessmia trait. a haematologist advised me to get iron injection which I got back on 31st May. yet my body muscles ache with no improvement.

Thanks for posting your query. With hemoglobin levels so low you will have some muscles ache and weakness. Also with tuberculosis it can be more. I would suggest you to get blood transfusion if possible and also discuss the option of blood transfusion with your treating doctor. You can take multivitamin supplements and tab. Dolo for pain relief.
