Brief Answer:
Can be a bone injury or fracture.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
There is a possibility of bone injury in your case. This can be confirmed only after an X-ray. Till then to decrease the pain and swelling you can have mild pain killer and wrap a compression bandage around the area. After an X-ray the extent of damage can be assessed and then the specific treatment can be done.
I hope this answers your query.
