What Should Be Done When PSA Level Is Slightly High And The Prostrate Is Enlarged?

You should biopsy and CT scan abdomen and pelvis. see details.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
I can understand your concern. As per your age, PSA level i.e 7.1 is above normal range. Causes of elevated PSA are prostate cancer, benign enlargement of prostate, prostatitis, urinary tract infection. So there is 25 to 30 % chances of prostate cancer in case of elevated PSA. As you don't have any urination related issues and other symptoms, so there will be less chances of prostate cancer. Do you have swelling over legs or pelvic area or bone pain?
Still, I will suggest you to do Biopsy and CT scan abdomen and pelvis to rule out any possibility of prostate cancer. Kindly follow up with detailed history and reports.
I think this will clarify your concern. Thank you.
