Detailed Answer:
Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Ideal weight gain is usually around 4-5 kgs at 28 weeks of gestation.
But some patients gain weight later in pregnancy around 32 weeks due to various reasons like
- severe vomiting or ongoing vomiting
- lean stature of the mother or growth retarded baby.
In your case most likely cause is vomiting which along with poor appetite is causing poor weight gain.
Ideal weight gain in normal pregnancy is between 8-11 kgs.
In my opinion you should
- get an ultrasound to see for the weight of baby
- take some protein powder twice a day with milk.
- drink plenty of water daily.
- eat as much as you can and whatever you like.
- have Adequate rest of 8 hours at night and 2 hours in day.
Follow the routine and check weight after fifteen days.
Wish you all the best.
Take care.
