Question : Hello,
I was diagnozed with being having GERD/ Gartritis through an endoscopy that was done in 2018. Since then I have been taking Nexium (once in the morning) and Pepcid (after dinner) on and off when the episodes of flare up happen about heartburn. In Dec 2019, in a follow up endoscopy, I still had gastritis and had peptic ulcers due to being positive for H Pyroli (RUT positive). I took the 14 day medications of strong anti-biotics and things improved. Recently, since last 4 weeks (March 2021), I have been having constantly having burning pain in the stomach, frequent burping, feeling bloated all the time, fatigue, tiredness and feeling weak, loss of appetite and noticed some weight loss as well. Recently started having some upper back pain and side pain around the rib cage as well on both the sides. Went to my physician and he got the ultrasound done for Gallbladder and Liver and everything came out OK. I am currently taking some home remedies to have temporary relief from the symptoms like eating yogurt, taking probiotics, coconut water, ginger, eating nothing spicy, coconut oil twice a day which has helped me a bit. I got the lipid profile done and everything is ok with Cholesterol, Triglyceride, HDL, LDL etc. What should be our next course of action be ?

Is Nexium providing relief?
Are you on any painkiller medications (NSAID)?
After 2 weeks of treatment for Helicobacter pylori, were you tested again to check whether the infection was eradicated?
