Question : I'm a 69 yo white male with Type II Diabetes and heart challenges. BP 155/64, pulse rate 34 with Bigeminal PVC's. Checking and recording BP and Pulse several times each day. Went to the ER last Saturday and saw my Cardiologist last Monday. Had EKG and blood work. Wore Holtor Monitor for 48 hours on Tuesday/Wednesday.
Haven't heard from Cardiologist since Monday. Next appt. scheduled for the 18th. What symptom/sign milestone should I be looking for that tells me when to return to the ER before the 18th appt.?

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

The symptoms explained by you and the overall scenario, one should be symptomatic at this low heart rate. So its first important to make sure what the exact heart rate is. For that I would like to see your ECG if you can upload the pic of your latest ECG.

If you are actually having such a low heart rate then it's important to seek medical help as soon possible because any time you can have dizziness or even fainting episode.

Also I would like to suggest you to start on Aspirin and statins till the time your appointment is completed.

Kindly upload your reports for proper evaluation.
