Question : Pimples on my back, they are painful. Started after weather got hotter, I am not sure what to apply

You seem to have bacterial folliculitis. I suggest you to take an oral antibiotic e.g either amoxicilin or cephalexin 500mg for a week. In addition I suggest you to apply a topical antibiotic e.g mupirocin ointment or neosporin ointment twice daily for a few days. These are prescription medications.
