Question : I have eczema on my legs and few other parts of my body. It is by birth. Usually it becomes aggressive in winters and is bearable in summers. But since a month only on my left leg it is very itchy. And if i dont apply lotion for 2 days skinn becomes very hard on that patch and also water comes out from that part which then hardens over the patch. My other legs patch is fine and is bearable. Please suggest what to do. I would like to share the picture. If i get an option

                                    Brief Answer:
Atopic Dermatitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the follow up and photographs.
You are suffering from atopic dermatitis, a type of endogenous eczema.
Main treatment would be topical steroid creams with varying potency.
Start with ointment clobetasol 0.05% daily in night for 15 days followed by ointment mometasone 0.1% daily in night for 1 month and followed by desonide lotion 0.05% daily in night for one month.
In morning you must apply some moisturizer.
Once the rash is completely healed, you can stop the steroid cream and continue with moisturizer.
If the rash reappears just apply any of these steroid creams for a week and stop.
Also take an antihistamine tablet such as Tablet cetrizine 10 mg daily in night when required.
It is important to understand that Atopic Dermatitis can only be controlled and not permanently cured.
Let me know if you have any other doubts.
Thank you.

Thank you for the suggestion.i have a small confusion here. Do you mean applying clobetasol for 15 nights. And on 16th day start the other one and so on. Or i need to apply all together.
