What To Do I Scalded My Chest Area As Hot Tea Fell On It?

Question: i scalded my chest area as hot tea fell on it. i immediately poured normal water on the area for 10 minutes n applied soframycin. there are 2-3 smal bubbles and 2 areas of 2 cm square where top layer of skin has peeled off. please suggest on what to do.

Thanks for your query.

You have done right, Soframycin is fine.

Do not break the boils.

You can apply Aminacrine (Burnol) or Silver nitrate gel (silverex ) from now on.

The bubble will break o its own and the area will dry up. if you see pus building up or an increase in pain, then you may have to consult the doctor.
