Brief Answer:
Soft tissue injury likely.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
I have seen the attached image. The knee is swollen but there is no redness. Any inflammation is not likely. A soft tissue injury can cause such a swelling and pain. Avoid any massage and exercise. MRI scan of the knee will help in diagnosing the extent of soft tissue injury. You can use a knee support to provide an extra support to the affected knee. Mild pain killers will help. Avoid all painful activities. This is likely to improve in next 2 weeks.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
