What To Do About A Sudden Skin Reaction Under The Breast Leading To Skin Discoloration?

Question: Hi. My mom (64 years old) got treated for a recurring cough and as a result got a reaction under her breast. The following meds were prescribed tegretol, univir, novasept and tribees forte. I have pictures of the reaction part of which is now a small painful wound. It is a dark coloration.
Thoughts please?

Herpes zoster, rash is not because of medicines

I have reviewed the newly attached photograph.
According to your complaints it is herpes zoster which is a viral infection.
The medicines prescribed to her are for viral infection.
The medicines and the rash are not related.
Rash is not a side effect of medicines.

Ok, the medicines were prescribed for the rash. So are you saying these are not the right medicines for Herpes Zoster? How do you treat it then?

I am saying that the rash was not a side effect of these medicines.
