Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The mite bites are most commonly responsible for an allergic reaction causing pain and itching in the area.
Consulting a dermatologist will help in determining the nature of bite and its proper management. To manage the itching you can follow these simple measures-
* Avoid scrubbing your skin.
* Use as little soap as possible. Use gentle cleansers instead.
* Avoid applying cosmetic lotions or ointments directly on the rash.
* Use warm (not hot) water for cleaning. XXXXXXX dry, don't rub.
* Leave the affected area exposed to the air as much as possible.
* Try calamine medicated lotion.
* Hydrocortisone cream (1%) is available without a prescription and may soothe many rashes.
You can take oral anti allergics like fexofenadine to hasten the recovery.
Hope this answers your query. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Please accept my answer in case you do not have further queries.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.

Thank you! What do I ask an exterminator to do? I can't stand this, and need to treat the problem as well as my skin.
Thank you very much!
