What To Expect Of A Urinalysis 3 Months After A Cystoscopy To Remove A Kidney Stone In The Left UV Junction?
Question: Hello Doctor,
3 months back, I had kidney stone trouble. There was a stone of 3mm in my left UV junction which was removed by Cystoscopy. After 3 months, I did Urine test couple of days back. My Urine analysis report is as follows,
Physical Examination
Quantity : 50 ml
Colour : Pale Yellow
Appearence : Clear
Deposit : Absent
PH : 6.0
Specific gravity : 1.010
Chemical Examination
Albumin : Absent
Sugar : Absent
Ketone : Absent
Nitrite : NEGATIVE
Bile Pigments : Absent
Bile Salts : Absent
Urobilinogen : Normal
Microscopic Examination
PUS Cells : 1 to 2 /HPF
RBC : Occasional dysmorphic RBC /HPF
Epithelial Cells : Occasional /HPF
Casts : Absent
Crystals : Absent
Amorphous material : Absent
Instrument : Fully Automated Roche Cobas u 411

Maybe asymptomatic urine infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It looks like an asymptomatic urinary infection. I would suggest you drink 4 lts of water every day. Drink citrus juices such as orange/lemon/mosumbi. Repeat after a month. In case it still shows some pus cells and RBC's or you get any symptoms of infection, you can start antibiotics later.
Nothing to worry as of now.
