Question : Hi doctor ,
my maid 22 years of age was not having periods last year and then we saw her to doctor. then after medication it happened once but then again stopped. I am enclosing her prescription and test report. please advise.

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
I have reviewed the report and the prescription.
The report seems to be normal.
Irregular periods can be due to hormonal disturbance like hypothyroidism, hyperprolactinemia or polycystic ovarian syndrome.
Since the thyroid and prolactin levels are normal, then these conditions are ruled out.
Polycystic ovarian syndrome can be ruled out by a ultrasound of the pelvis.
An ultrasound is advised and you can get back to me with the report.
