Brief Answer:
Some vaccinations are needed besides the routine vaccination schedule !!!

Warm Welcomes. I appreciate your trust in HCM and assure you are on best portal on the globe for expert online medical services.
I have thoroughly reviewed health query you raised, and well realize all of those concerns. Being your physician, I will take care all of them today and will extend my expertise to solve the problems.

Make sure if she is not short of her normal routine/scheduled vaccinations. I prefer her to take her flu shots before travelling. Other routine vaccinations I am talking about are measles-mumps-rubella (MMR) vaccine, diphtheria-tetanus-pertussis vaccine, varicella (chickenpox) vaccine, polio vaccine.

No matter where she stays or eats there, it is ususally recommended to take Hepatitis A as this may spread from contaminated water and food items.

Almost for all it is recommended to take Typhoid vaccine. It becomes obligatory if she is an adventurous eater, have plans to travel to the small communities and rural areas.

Yes malaria prophylaxis is needed for your daughter and medications usually given may be taken on prescription. Ask her physician for "Atovaquone-proguanil", doxycycline, or mefloquine. Her local primary care physician will guide you better in this regard.

If she has to go for hiking, live for long time there, play with animals and have to remain most of the times outdoors then Rabies vaccination is also recommended.

There is no risk of Yellow fever in XXXXXXX But XXXXXXX government sometimes need a certification/proof that your daughter is vaccinated for Yellow fever. It is important to have that before leaving for XXXXXXX

Hope I addressed all the concerns you have. Let me know if you have further questions. I will be more than happy to clear any doubts. Please give your 'rating' (if agreed, Five Stars) to help me assist patients in a better way; and, please don't forget to click on 'Close The Discussion'.
