Question : I was recently at the ER because I've been sick for the last week. everything came back normal and I do not have a fever now but I did have one for two days. the blood results showed that my liver enzymes were at 200. I sweat as I sit still and as the day goes on I feel absolutely worn out. I am waiting for the results for Hepatitis A. are there any current viruses going around that would cause this? also my eyes are slightly yellow. the rest of my bloodwork was normal.

                                    Brief Answer:
Infections that affect the liver.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for using Healthcaremagic to post your health query.
I read carefully your question and I understand your concern.
If your eyes are yellow and you have those symptoms together with changes in the liver function tests, then most probably it is Hepatitis A.
Other types of hepatitis can be possible too, but only if you have it in our body for some time and now it is having a flare up.
Some blood problems can give those symptoms too, but you would have specific changes in your other blood tests like CBC, hemoglobin, ect.
Hope this is helpful and answers your question.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
