Question : I take 25th of atenonol, my heart feels like it did before I started taking it 2 years ago, I have a Dr's appt on monday but is it safe to take another dose now, so it would be one in the morning one at night?

Usually Atenolol is prescribed for high BP patients once daily.
To start with the treatment begins with with low dose such as 25 mg once daily.

The most common side effects noted with the use of Atenolol are:
Slower heart rate, weakness, fatigue, cold and clammy skin, impotency, difficulty in breathing (more in patients with air way diseases).

Since you have an appointment fixed with your treating doctor tomorrow you may please continue to take the Atenolol.
