Question : Good afternoon Dr. XXXXXXX Rynne:
My name is XXXX and I am a disabled recipient. But, was not born disabled. I made the decision to catch a hemiplegic patient by his head and his neck--jumped on top of bed and was on knees reached to manipulate. It was a prevention method I learned in DFW at El Centro College Radiography. Moreover, I was grabbed by a mastectomy patient the following year. The right leg became numb. I endured 9 spinal cord neurological interventions. Metronic spinal cord stimulators implantation is a part of the surgeries. Now, I returned to a light duty position--but did not decieve employer. I admitted on application I required accommodations. But, patient attacked me. I never felt the punches nor the strangulation. Second, another patient fell on top of me. End result very little sensation coursing caudadly from plantar to cephalic of pneumothorax. [had the medtronics removed planning cervical fusion +lumbar sacral fusion]. Will I regain a stronger sensation from both legs to pneumothorax?

Brief Answer:
Possible compressive spine disease
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
I can certainly understand your concern
I have worked through your attached query in detail
As per your symptoms the possibility of a compressive spine disease is very high.
This requires surgical intervention.
I advise you to get MRI scan of the spine for further evaluation. Consulatation with a Neurosurgeon is mandatory.
Continue taking Gabapentin and Tizanidine as usual.
Medtronic might be of little help
Review with reports to determine further course of action.
The extent of recovery can be predicted from the findings on MRI scan.
Post your further queries if any
Thank you

I was forced to have both Medtronic devices removed from both separate body cavities. The sacral stimulator was anchored in my bladder. It caused me a great discomfort. The holding of urine in the reservoir did not agree with the prongs which were inserted.
The lumbar stimulator worked well, but I fell in the ER and these men refused to allow me to fall and return to normal. These security guards thought it would be best to come from behind and grab me by both upper extremities. I did not respond well. I ended up with lacerations on my right arm, and now it is very difficult for me to breathe
The neurosurgeon explained that it was vital to have the pain devices removed. They were removed. A myelogram was performed. I require neck and low back surgery. The worse news is the past surgeries performed concentrated on the right side. Thus, now the left side of the vertebral column is now affected.
I have to accept spinal cord fusion--hence, reality does not set in for the
Dr. Yung Jung XXXXXXX until he has me on the operating table. [first surgery was expected to be 3 hours long it took over 10 hours; and I woke up during the surgery.] Now, I suffer from PTSD.

Brief Answer:
Spinal resurgery might be required
Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma'am
In presence of metallic implants MRI scan of spine is not advisable. You might go for X ray or CT scan under strict supervision of your Radiologist.
To minimise the discomfort, you might be reoperated on the fused spine.
PTSD requires careful management with drugs like Selective Sertonin reuptake inhibitors. Please discuss with your psychiatrist about it's need.
The sacral simulator might require surgical repositioning.
In person consulatation with an expert Neurosurgeon is mandatory.
Additionally a Urologist might be of help to handle the bladder issues.
