Question : I had a hip replacement in November and since then I have been going to PT. The therapist tells me that I have spasticity in the replacement leg. Now she also saw it in my left leg and right arm. What would be the cause of the spasticity? And could it progress further?

Spasticity on one half of the body is usually due to recent stroke or cerebral palsy since birth. It can even occur due to spinal cord damage.
