What Would Cause Chronic Itching All Over The Body And Constant Chest Pain In A Young Adult?

Kindly see detailed answer.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I can understand your concern. As you have itching since 2 years, at your age and having no any significant past history, causes may be dry skin, contact dermatitis, eczema, allergic reactions, fungal infection, scabies, bed bug or lice bite.
I'd suggest you to do complete blood count, skin allergy test, skin biopsy to rule out any possibilities. Treatment mainly depends upon underlying conditions. In between you can apply moisturizing cream or calamine lotion over body, tab. Fexofenadine 120 mg. As these are prescription medications, kindly consult with your doctor. avoid soap, detergents, perfumes that may cause itching.
Generally chest pain is not associated with skin itching. At your age, causes of chest pain may be overuse, heavy weight lifting, strain or sprain, blunt trauma. Let me know whether do you have shortness of breath, fever or history of any of them? You can take tab. tylenol 500 mg. Apply diclofenac gel or ointment locally. Kindly follow up with detailed history.
As you are not at risk of STDs, so I think no need to do these tests. I think this will clarify your concern.
Regards,
Dr. Shyam Kale
