
What Would Cause Weakness And Swelling In The Right Hand With Very Little Finger Control?

Question: Have weakness and some swelling in right hand. very little finger control. Difficult holding anything almost useless. Can grip if can rap full hand around item like streering wheel

You did not indicate that the thyroid could be involved. Why. Local Dr indicated that was the problem,,this is why been taking thyroid prescription.

Very unlikely to be asymmetrical involvement of limbs with hypothyroidism.
If hypothyroidism is detected it needs medications for control but evaluation is needed for different presentation as discussed.
