Question : My husband and I have had this happen the last three summers. It seems to be brought on my heat and maybe stress. Our children have not been affected. In the areas of the panty line, under bra any where your clothing might be tighter or more heated area a zing will happen; within 24 hours a bump like a mosquito bite shows up. If you touch it, it does not feel like a mosquito bite it feels like a burn. They can get very large and water filled upon touching them and very painful. We have been to two doctors and a dermatologist. We have switched to laundry detergent for allergies and use name brand dryer sheets every now and then. Please help us figure out what is causing this. Thank you.

                                    Brief Answer:
Folliculitis, oral & topical antibiotics
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
You seem to be having folliculitis which is inflammation of the hair follicles.
It is very common in moist areas, body folds, hot and humid weather.
If I was your treating doctor I would recommend you to take a course of oral and topical antibiotics.
I would recommend you to take tablet cephalexin 500 mg twice daily for 5 days and apply neosporin ointment or fusidic acid cream on the affected areas twice daily.
These are prescription drugs and you need to see the doctor in person to get them.
Also wear loose fitted cotton clothes, stay in cool airy environment and keep the area dry.
Regards
Dr Asmeet
