Hello!

Welcome on - Ask a Doctor - service!

I understand your concern and would explain that this symptomatology of turning the toes and nails bed purple and tingling may be related to decreased blood in such areas. And this happens when you bend the extremities; it is considered normal under such conditions. May be also more prominent the weather is cold.

Try to turn straight your extremities by moving, walking, lying, etc. Normally those signs will disappear.

If you have realised that the purple skin and tingling happens more frequently even out of these particular conditions then It would be wise ti consult your internist or cardiologist for further medical investigations and tests.

Hope to have been helpful to you!

In case of any further questions, feel free to ask me again.

Kind regards,
