When Can FSH And LH Levels Be Tested While On Contraceptive Pills?

Question : Hi I need to check my FSH and LH levels and was told to do so on the 2nd day of my period. I am on the pill and have had diarrhea for the past few days so period has started. Shall I test these levels now? Is it still an optimal time to test? I went on the pill to regulate my periods and not as birth control as I am married and we are looking to start a family (periods have been pretty non existent for a while)

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
It is not advisable to get FSH and LH levels while on oral contraceptive pills as these pills can alter the levels of these hormones.
I will suggest you to wait for one month off the pills to get the hormone levels done.
