Question : I had unprotected sexual inter course, I'm within the 72 hour window for PEP. Getting my partner tested seems not feasible. Do I start with pep anyways or can a test reveal hiv early?

Brief Answer:
Test will be accurate only after 6 weeks

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for posting the query,

Testing HIV antibody at 3 to 4 days of exposure is not that accurate,

You should get tested after 6 weeks of exposure.

If you are too much worried you can start on PEP.

Take care.
