Question : Hi. I am prescribed Vyvanse 40mg and Focalin 5mg to take around 4pm on a normal day. Today I was set back and ended up taking my vyvanse at 1:30pm, when would it be safe for me to take my focalin 5mg? And would it help to double my dose of Focalin tonight since I will be up late studying? I have ADHD and am studying for a nursing exam I have tomorrow.

I suggest you to take Focalin at the usual prescribed time without doubling of the dose. Doubling the dose might help you stay up late but will not help with increased concentration. The most essential thing before any exam is good night's sleep
