Question : Ive had continous, but not constant pain in my chest for 6 months . ive had an ekg and a stress test. all normal. i have stress with job and move.
Brief Answer:
Not a cardiac pain
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
welcome.
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
I would first like to know your age and any associated risk factor like smoking, diabetes or hypertension.
In absence of these and stress test negative, chances that the pain being cardiac is very low.
There are other very common causes of chest pain like stress, gastritis, costochondritis(inflammation of joint between bone & cartilage of chest).
Try taking ibuprofen with pantocid and I hope the pain will be relieved.
Thanks and take care
