When During The Day Should Rosuvastatin And Losartan Be Taken?

Question : Good morning, Doctor,
My question is regarding what are the best times to take my two prescriptions. The first is Losartan 100 mg/daily. The second is Rosuvastatin Calcium 5 mg/daily. Ever since I was put on the statin drug three or so years ago, I've had annoying pains in my legs. In the past month, my doctor changed the dosage from 10 mg to 5 mg a day. Still not much change. I also take Qunol ultra CoQ10 100 mg. Might there be preferable times during the day to take any of these drugs? Thank you.

Hello,

Losartan is usually taken early in the morning. You can set the time yourself depending on your schedule. Rosuvastatin and the rest of the statins work better when taken in the evening. You can take CoQ10 whenever you like during the day; it doesn't matter much.
