Question : Whenever I tap/hit the top right side of my testicle it hurt. I have no other issues. I can run,cross my legs or work all day and I have no pain in my testicle. This was discovered by a doctor over 12 tears ago who said I had blood in my testicle. I did have a hernia operation in 2002.

I have gone through your query and here is my advice.

As per your history, you do not have pain in testicle but it hurts on tapping as testicles are very sensitive to minor injuries also. Still kindly follow up with a bit more information.

Please let me know do you have history of injury, strain, testicular swelling, fever, penile discharge, burning while urination?

For further assessment I would suggest you to do ultrasound abdomen with Doppler scrotal scan, urine analysis, complete hemogram after detailed medical examination and Urologist opinion.

Treatment mainly depends upon the underlying condition. Till then in case of pain you can take tablet acetaminophen (Tylenol) 500 mg. Avoid strenuous activity, heavy weight lifting. Use scrotal support while running.

I have a service connected injury to the left foot,which an E-Ray showed a fracture to the indicated foot. I did rip the upper calf,right side of my leg over 30 years ago when he stuck my testicle,right side,top area with a pin. I have a herniated disc,30% disability in my back and 15% in my neck. No burning while urinating,no penile discharge,no testicular swelling,no fever. I don't do any running but instead walk at a steady pace with no issues. Again,this issue became know to me when examined by a doctor over 12 years ago. I will take your advise and see a doctor. Thank you.
