Where Is The Liver Located In The Human Body?

You could be having gastritis
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for asking on HealthcareMagic.
The liver is an organ located on the right side of the body just where the rib cage in front ends, i.e. at the junction of the thorax and abdomen. Eating normal and avoidance of alcohol is all that needs to be done in general in order to maintain its health. About the subtle pain that you are feeling, a proper clinical examination is required. However, if you could describe it perhaps I could guide you further. Most often people suffer from gastritis or gastroesophageal reflux and that is more likely to the the cause of such a pain rather than due to hernia or due to liver cause. Advil (ibuprofen) is ill known to cause stomach irritation and therefore gastritis.

Fiber rich foods should help.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for writing back. Sorry for not being able to respond faster. Alcohol is highly irritant for the stomach (that is the reason you take some food item along, in order to reduce the irritation). So, you are just confirming the possibility of gastritis. However, if you still think that it is not due to gastritis, it would be very essential to get yourself clinically examined and you need to visit a doctor for the same.
Vitamins will not help. However, you can take Vitamin B complex or green leafy vegetables as alcohol leads to depletion of B vitamins. High fiber foods (like whole wheat bread, avocados, pears, coconut, peas, turnips etc.) would help your gastrointestinal tract (including liver) get some rest.
