Question : I have successfully been on Zoloft for over 25 years. In my early 80's I am up to XXXXXXX dosage. Zoloft does not seem to be working as it did in the past. If you were to recommend another anti-depressant as a replacement what would it be?
Brief Answer:
Fluoxetine would be better.
Detailed Answer:
Hi sir,
I have gone through your query and understand your concern towards the nonresponsive of Zoloft, after many years.
I would suggest you can switch off to MIRTAZAPINE, which improves your sleep and appetite in addition with safest side effect profile.
It is a good antidepressant in action.
Consult with your doctor about this drug.
Hope this information would help you.
Thank you.
