Detailed Answer:
Hello !Thank you for posting your question here.
I read your concern and I understand.
You need help from a physiotherapist, so he /she can show you how to do the excercises that will help.
The subacromial space is between acromion of the scapula and the head of humerus, so practically . The muscles that elevate the acromion or pull down the humerus will help.
Here are some of the muscles and the function that have :
-Serratus anterior
-Glenohumeral adduction :Pectoralis major,Latissimus dorsi ,Coracobrachialis, Teres major.
-Trapesius , Rrhomboideus (retraction of the scapula),Levator scapula (upword scapula )
-strong back muscles:extension of the spinal cord.
-streight posture of your scapula .

Hope I have answered your question.
Let me know if you have any further clarifications, I will be happy to help.
Take Care !
